Privacy, by design

Your QR content stays in your browser.

Local generation

The generator processes your links, text, WiFi credentials and contact details in your browser. It does not send that content to a server to create a QR code. Inputs are held in memory and are not saved by the tool after you leave or reload the page.

Your downloaded codes

PNG, SVG and PDF files are created locally. A static QR code contains the information you entered. Anyone with access to the code can decode it, including WiFi passwords or personal contact details. Download and share codes only with your intended audience.

Logos and sharing

Logo images are decoded and resized locally, then embedded in your exports. They are not uploaded, and the tool does not keep the original filename or image metadata in the export. Clicking Share sends the generated PNG to your device’s share sheet when supported. You choose the app or recipient; that service has its own privacy practices. No private QR content is placed in a share URL.

Website requests

Your browser requests the website’s pages, scripts and styles from its hosting provider. The provider may process ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, as part of serving those files. The generator does not add your QR content to those requests.

Cookies and analytics

This version has no account system, advertising cookies or product analytics. The tool does not store your inputs in cookies or browser storage.

Opening a QR destination

Scanning a URL, WhatsApp or other link can open another website or app. That service has its own privacy practices. Creating a QR code does not verify or endorse the destination.

Future features

This version offers static QR tools. If hosted redirects, accounts or scan analytics are added, their data handling will be explained here before those features are introduced.
